Iso Problem

every tyme i download one i get it completly done and when i try 2 unpack it. it always comes up file is corrupt am i doing sumthing wrong someone please help me. i really want FF 7-9 but everytyme i try 2 get them i get the same response. doen tried difrent people's downloads and every thing but still wont work help me out please

Tell us what file are you trying to extract, sometimes you'll have to use Winrar, 7zip, HJSplit..

Did you download all 10 files for each disc first?

first i tried emuparadise's for ff7
i also tried
Grayfox's 7 8 9
and also snakes 7
i tried putting them back 2gether with hjsplit and 7zip and also unpacking with each

i got ff 7 from here as well and mine works fine. all files downloaded as .rar all i did was extract the first file and it worked fine. didnt have to compress al the files into one or anything.

Other wise the onlytime i got a corrupt file I used hjsplit to join the files.it worked after that.

But the ff 7 you got from here is fine cause mine works.

i wonder why myne wont work then i have had problems b4 with my viruscan being on but i turned it off when i downloaded
also i didnt have any problem with putting the files together just when i tried to unpack it cums up as all my .mdr(snake) iso(grays) are corrupt but the one other file always extracts
may it b because i use flashget to download and it loses some of the data in the process

also this is the exact error i get
!CRC failed in Final Fantasy VII (BEAT)\Final Fantasy 7 Disc 1\FINALFANTASY7.mdf. The file is corrupt

i had that same error with saga frontier 2. i had to join it with hjsplit then extract the file. worked after that.

edit: althought the file extension that was corrupt for my was the .img

did you try extracting with 7zip? maybe they are 7zipped. but seeing you get a corruption error message the file maybe really corrupted. you will have to find another copy if thats the case..
also double check that you have ALL of the files with correct sizes. mostly all prts will be same in size and the last one will be a lil bit smaller than the others..

alright i think i got it now but not sure if it will play all the way through the corrupt file norton had n there verision of recycle bin so imma try it out n c if it goes all the way through

For the ISO's that are on EP's main site, you need to use WinRar.
The newest version of 7-zip may also work.

When you right-click on one of the rar parts, and then choose Extract, the ISO files will automatically combine as they are being extracted.

For ISO's that have been uploaded elsewhere, you may need HJSplit or 7-zip instead of WinRar.

If you see a 7z near the end of the file name(s), then, you use 7-zip to extract.

If you see a rar.001, rar.002, rar.003, etc. then you need to use HJSplit to combine the parts, then use WinRar to extract.

If you see .part01.rar, .part02.rar, part03.rar, etc.
or .r001, .r002, .r003, etc, then you need to only use WinRar to combine and extract them.

Also, you can use CDMage to scan your ISO for any corrupt sectors.
