Random PMs...and no PMs doesn't mean Pre-Menstrual Syndrome...
Like 2-3 times a week I send a random PM to people...I usually just kind of look at the 'online in forum' list and pick a name I haven't PMed before...
Quite a few have PMed back (Cookie Monster...big sweetie, Demented Lullaby...not so demented cutie, pkt-zer0...not sure but he PMed back long ago when it was his random time so he gets points)
I always make the PMs funny or at least I mean them to be so this thread has 3 purposes...
1. If anyone ever gets a random PM from me and thinks "What the hell is this chick smoking?"
I mean it all in fun and a way to get to know people...
2. If anyone doesn't want a random PM from me then I mean no offense and I will never PM anyone a second time if I get no reply the first time. I only say that cause some don't reply at all so I never know if I made them smile or hate that they had to check their PMs.
3. Like it or not, many of us are here for a reason...and that is friendship or people who are like minded (in the sense of intelligent, or not so intelligent, gamers who have many agreeing or opposing points of view)
I see EP like a big family...brothers and sisters argue...sisters and sisters argue...brothers and brothers argue...moms and sons argue... (you get the point)
But Random PMs are my way of saying "I may not know you to well, but just the fact that you are here makes us have something in common"
Am I the only one who sees EP as a 'family' or do others feel that way too?
And is thinking of people you see on an online forum as friends too much to hope for?
And does any of this make sense?
That's okay...I never do...make sense that is.
