    Default Immortal to reunite!

    http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/bla...wsitemID=43000

Former IMMORTAL Frontman Launches New Project - Oct. 17, 2005
IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name: Olve Eikemo) has joined forces with original IMMORTAL drummer Armagedda, ENSLAVED guitarist Arve Isdal and GORGOROTH bassist King in a brand-new project dubbed simply I. The group have finished writing two-thirds of the material for their upcoming full-length debut, which will feature lyrics written primarily by former IMMORTAL guitarist Demonaz (real name: Harald Nvdal). The band, who expect to enter the studio before the end of 2005, are said to be contemplating making several festival appearances next year. More information will be made available soon.
Kind of old news but I just found out. "I" must stand for Immortal, I mean fuck: Abbath, Demonaz's lyrics, and Armagedda on drums. This truly deserves its own thread, the greatest black metal band ever is now getting back together! Hail to the unholy forces of Blashyrkh! \m/

Good news, but let's hope they stay away from the camera this time.

Sweet. I wonder what kind of sound they have going... If it's anything like Immortal's later material, I will be one happy dude.

Old news, but sure, I don't mind having them back. The name is kinda weird though. :/

Yes this is pretty old news... but it's good that Abbath and co are back into action

Edit: Would give you rep Soeru for putting Vader into your band of the week but I have to spread some more first

Oh yeah, in some older interview with Horgh(or Iscariah, I don't remember), he mentioned that the Abbath's new material is very strong and epic, reminiscent of "At the Heart of Winter". Joy.

I came. I expect this new band to kick serious ass. If not, I will cut myself.

I think there's like, 5 Immortal fans on EP

And maybe the new band is just an abbreviation for 'Immortal'?

I mentioned this. I'm a die hard Immortal fan, but not just of ATHoW, but also Battles in the North, Sons of Northern Darkness, and Damned in Black. You should check out those other albums too! Pure Holocaust is bad-ass too, but I just don't like that kind of black metal nowadays.
