Default My name means I cook bacon wearing only an apron... :)

No it doesn't...but what does your name mean?
I imagine such a thread was prolly made long ago but I figure like alot of new people and buried threads make it appropriate for a new one...

    Anyway...
I was always 'Slesai' on forums (as I used to be here. Slesai means 'Invisible Lady' in my native American Indian language and my mother always called me that cause I would always hide places (under the house, in closets, behind dressers) so I could get some alone time when I wanted to read as a little girl.
I actually read all the Dune books when I was like 7 (pretty hefty reading for a 7 year old) as well as almost everything ever written by Isaac Asimov or Carl Sagan (which may have led to my Atheistic views on life) I even read 'A Brief History of Time' by Stephen W. Hawking when I was like 9 and was totally fascinated by the way he made complex things seem so simple...
    Anyway...
With the name Slesai (even though it means Invisible Lady) many people tended to call me 'Dude' or think I was a guy...as well as my point of view on many topics seemed to make me a few 'enemies' at some places...lol.
So, after a hiatus from the online world (partially created by health problems) I decided to return under a more female name and I loved a song by Donnie Iris:
I see your lips and I wonder who's been kissing them...
I never knew how badly I was missing them...
We both know we're playing with the fire...
But we can't stop this burning desire...
    Lea...allea...here we go again...

(Okay, enough of my bad singing)
The song actually isn't Allea but I thought so at the time cause it sounded like he said that...lol.
And after a few searches I found that Allea wasn't a very common online name... (Unlike the 10,000 people named Sephiroth or the endless Dragon Ball Z names)
So here I am...the misnamed Allea from a song that I misunderstood the words of after being a book reading little kid hermit whose mother called her the little Invisible Lady (Slesai)...

Wow, that's long...if you actually read all this let me know and I'll give you some Rep...lol.
So...what does your name mean to you?

Footnote: We all know Sprung uses that name since someone 'sprung' him out of prison and released him on the rest of society so he doesn't need to reply, but the rest of you can...

Sharp. I thought up a character when I was little that morphed his limbs into blades.

Actually, my real name's Gergely. And somehow it became GareJei. Strange name, damned hard to pronounce (if it's even possible ), but you won't find anyone else on the whole net with this name. Try Googling it.

Well, at least it's a unique name.

Xaenn was created back when I got Gauntlet Legends for N64. Made up the name for my Wizard, and it's just stuck since then.
