    Default Chrono Cross Problem

i am having problems with chrono cross
the video is moving too fast
i tried lowering the FPS rate to 50 and the game still moves fast
also when im in a fight, when i press on element...and the magic comes up...the game freezes...

Enable the special game fix "Odd/even bit hack" from video plugin options. Not sure if that will fix everything. Try using ePSXe 1.5.2 if that doesn't work.

As for the speed issue, select auto-frame rate control or something like that. It will do all the work for you and make everything go the right speed. As for the elements freezing issue, I seem to remember that happening to me but I don't remember what I did to nullify it. Probably was some video plugin tweak.

An overall guide that I follow when working with pete's plugins is to set the plugin to the "fast" setting by clicking the button in the bottom-left corner. Then add enhancements, one by one, til you find a good configuration.

Auto-framerate killed the game for me, I set it to limit it at 30, then worked up to 50 and made slight changes to improve graphical quality/slow the game down along the way.

Now I remember, add the line -noauto to the end of your ePSXe's target.
    This is what I have:

    C:\ROM\PSX\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe -noauto

that command line is to be used to get Chrono Cross work with ePSXe 1.6.0.

It works with ePSXe anyway. Ticking the Odd/Even bit hack makes the menus work and using that command line makes the speed normal for me.
