Default Moved away, back after a month and FFIX problems :(

While I was internetless I was playiong FFIX and on disc 3 I got to the scene where Bahumut attacks Alexandria. The problem is no matter what settings I use the CG frezes at the same spot. Is there a known fix for this? If there is please tell me its been driving me nuts for 3 weeks >.<.

what plugins are you using and what are the specs of your pc? i've never had any cg issues in Ff9 other than when the final ending begins.

kallipso? version? whats so special about that version and the original? or is kallipso the person who ripped the game? as for video plugins, i've always used P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.15. its never gone wrong for me on nearly all games.

I've heard the kallipso version is very buggy.

arent kallipso the backup cd crack that have been applied to the image ?
however if it allways stops at the same place then it would seem like you might be the victim of a bad image
if thats the case then i fear that there arent much to do about it

Well, Shinkyu, you could compare your image to mine in this post. Zorlon made guides for getting the necessary info for the image somewhere at the beginning of that thread.

He means that his game has been patched with one of Kalisto's patches--I'm guessing the one to make it work properly in VGS:

You could try using PSXeven to play past that part, then memcard save and continue with ePSxe again.
If I'm not mistaken, ePSXe memcard saves are compatible with PSXeven and vice versa.
