    Looks like you can only get the latest version from their site. Don't know why you wouldn't want that, but...

    because some games only play with Daemon Tools 3.29

    Lol, you look like someone wanting to hack a starforce protection.
    I wouldn't see why certain games would only work with 3.29, are you sure it's not a myth or you tested it and other utilities don't cooperate well with newer version?

    He's referring to ChanKast.
    Daemon 3.29 is recommended for use with ChanKast

    I know nothing about Chankast, but how could that be? What changed in the later version that made Chankast work *less*?

    I have no idea.
    I don't use ChanKast either--my comp doesn't meet any of the minimum required specs.

    But that's what I've read again and again, on here and other boards--that ChanKast works best with 3.29.
