    TDK or Verbatim.

If you're burning games, I'd recommend CD-Rs with the blue dye.

I have always used Verbatim. I haven't had any go bad on me that I know of. I have found CDs laying in odd places when cleaning my room that I remember burning several years back. They all worked perfectly even when scratched.

Those KODAK Gold disks are less then 2 hours away from me.

I recomend memorex, verbatim, and (when on sale) sony cd-r and dvd-r(+r).
I use memorex the most, easier to find at most stores.

I've used a variety of branded cds and some very cheap ones too and i can't say i've noticed much difference.

CD-rs, I just buy whatevers cheapest. In my experience as long as you have a relatively recent burner (1-2 years old) they should come out the same. Dvd-rs are a different matter though. I use ritek G05s, because they seem to work best in my burner, but most people seem to say that Taiyo Yuden are the best (watch out for fakes).

Yes . . .I agree with you. I always use Ritek dye for DVDs and I have had very very few problems on a LOT of burned disks.
