Memory Card backup?
Is there a way, excluding any kind of products (AR Max, Derive, gameshark, etc.) to back up PS2 saves onto a PC? i have heard of an exploit to turn a memory card into an FTP, and i have a network adapter with active connection, so if anyone can help, i'd appreciate it.

to store my saves on a PC? really?
i don't want to run games on a PC or anything, if that's what ur thinking. i simply wat to take my saves from the memory card to a PC, and then be able to transfer them back when i want them.
i would use this to get my pix of my cars in GT4 onto my PC too...

Yeah im telling you that you can store your savegames in your pc,whatelse would i meaneventhough you can also stor games in your pc

why do i need to run a backed up CD is what i guess i'm asking. all i want/need/care to do is store my saves on a PC.

because to instal the exploit into your mc you need to run a cd that will install the necesary files into your mc by booting it in your ps2 and having your mc in the first slot,that way itll install everything needed into your mc,theresn o other way to do this just if you have a friend with the exploit already in his mc then you could do it without the need of the cd i mentioned
