Yah i know you a guys probally get this question all the time how do i play games that use light guns on my computer using mame32?

With a mouse

or you can set the X/Y movement to keys in the ingame config screen (TAB) after booting the game you may also need to do that to config your mouse (I don't actually remember how to get the mouse working you may just set that in the gui before booting the game)

or you can buy light gun for PC for monitors and TV out cards

^ lightgun mouse is set in the config in the gui,for key settings you would still need to set the keys ingame through the TAB menu

i use my guncom 45

using my usb2psx

but its setup to play on my tv
i dont know how would work on a moniter

TV lightguns don't work on moniters.

have you actually used your PSX light gun on your PC through a TV card or did you just think you could maybe?

I'm sure there isn't a converter that lets you do this, I own the EMS USB2 adaptor and it doesn't support PSX Gun-Con's or compatables on your PC through a TV out, it just lets you use them through USB on a PS2

EMS USB2 Converts PSX TM guns to Playstation 2TM on console, it also converts PSXTM joypad to PC for usage.

It doesn't convert PSX Guns to PC Guns though

No, console light guns will not work on the PC with any adapter. The EMS USB 2 adapter allows you to use PSX light guns on a PS2 only. Try a PC specific light gun which you can find at lik-sang. (2003-04-20)

Edit2:- EMS USB2 has had a great driver update (nothing to do with light guns) but this version has joy2keys features built in it so no more need for joy2keys for those old games that only work with keyboard or 4 button pads plus keyboard
