black screen problems with Xenogears

im playing xenogears on epsxe with petes dx6 d3d driver and on some scenes there is a black screen with red flashs on it. the first time i thought it was apart of the game but now im pretty sure there is a problem. if you know anything please help me out cuz its kind of annoying.

you have to turn on frame buffer access. turn it to FVP, that will make it work but it might lag.
