Ok, apparently, I tried it on my old PS2 (I'm playing my brother's friend's PS2 console at the moment cause mine is kinda stuffed. It made these 'click click click' noise when reading a disc, most likely the lens need replacement), and it loads the game successfuly. It doesn't last cause soon after the 'click click' sound appeared again and made the whole game freeze. So im guessing it's not the burning or the DVD format, but it's the difference in the modded chip those 2 consoles have. The current PS2 doesn't have a mod chip that support DVD-R/+R blanks, while my old one does. Sorry for the trouble, guys. But thanks for the advice and ideas.

Do you think my PS2 will read games on a DVD-RW?

I need to make an ISO of a PS2 game(DVD) but DVD Decrypter isnt available anymore. Can anyone suggest a good alternative as the only ones I can find can only be used for dvd movies not games.

    thanks

Does any one know about the rumour of patching isos with the bootdisk file like DC selfboot. I heard this could be done using some sort of cmd line app in dos. If posible does it still need to be chipped, since there are other ways like hdd and slide thingy (forgive my noobness)

This thread is more than 1 year old. Is it allowed for people to discuss in it?

That was my first thought when I saw his post, in fact I even closed the thread, but then I thought people may need to post in here if they have any doubt concerning the tutorial itself, so I re-opened it.
