Default Mega Man Legends 2 [U] -- get black screen with Daemon Tools

My copy of Mega Man Legends 2 [U] works fine in ePSXe if I use File > Run ISO.

But if I try to play it using Damon Tools, I get a black screen after the Capcom logo.

I'm using ePSXe 1.6.0 / P.E.Op.S Soft plugin / Eternal SPU plugin / P.E.Op.S CDR plugin (the newest ones)

So far this is the first game I've found that doesn't work right if you play it with Daemon Tools.

I wonder if it could be my CDR plugin?

btw, all other games work fine with Daemon Tools.

    Works for me...

    Using Pete's OpenGL2 2.7, Eternal SPU 1.41, and PeOPs CDR 1.4.

    My comp's graphics card doesn't support OGL 2. (I don't think anyway)
So I can only use OGL, D3D, and Soft.

If you read the readme that comes with Pete's OpenGL2 2.7 it says it doesn't actually use OpenGL2 and it works fine with my FX5200 card.
