I was told that if I bought a psone and used a gameshark it would let me boot up foreign/burned games. Bought a psone with gameshark version 5. unfortunately I get a bad disc error with foreign and burned games.

Is there a swapdisc/bootdisc I could buy or download that works?

You can use just about any disk.

Id rather use a bootdisc. The swap method seems a bit dangerous.

What bootdisc should I try?/where could I get it?

It is not dangerous as far as I know. The rotor is powered by a magnet, so stopping it suddenly can't even harm it a bit.

Those items are ones that could help you boot burned disc.

BTW, you can't boot burned games with the new official GameSharks. You need on of the clones or an old one (ver 3 and down)

I managed to get a game enhancer (the grey one). from a local store. It says modchips.com on it. However I got no manual or anything with it. How would I use it to play foreign games/burned copies?
