actually you can only download one file per hour, so if you split something into twenty parts, it will take twenty hours to download

but if you clear your cookies and history etc. then disconnect and reconnect you can get another 50 mb file and that only takes like 1 minute. or there are things that clear it for you but they only work on most computers on mine it does not, on my gfs it does, dunno why.

PS. we are trying to get games on rapidshare

i used rapidshare for awhile myself and the speed just depends on thier server load, they ussually have happy hours for 2 hours each day, so wut that means is u can download as many files as you can between them 2 hours.

only thing tho about thier happy hours is i think they cap thier uploads for each person they send to.

also wanted to say another way around it is to use a lvl 3 or better http proxy, that is for peeps like me that thier isp stays the same, easiest browser to change ur proxy in is firefox. each proxy you use will give ya an additional 50 mb to download within that hr. another bad thing is proxy's are not easy to come by, best way to get em is to scan for em urself and that takes some knowledge. after ya get a good proxy set in delete ur cache and cookies in firefox, dont know if that trick still works but it used to for me.

anyhow just wanted to give them tips about rapidshare.de

edit: cancel that rapidshare happy hours out seems they got rid of it sometime ago

i HATE rapidshare. Because people tend to upload files in parts, and you can only download 1 part everyhour unless you pay to download. Id like rapidshare better if people uploaded the whole game in 1 file instead.
