How many Japanese PSX games are there?

Im guessing theres about 2500.

Ive kinda made it a sub-quest to buy every single one.
so it would be handy to know how many there are about.
i have seen the psx master list, but im not counting all them.

Erm, if the PS master list is on the net, copy + paste it into Word or Notepad, and then let it tell you how many lines there are

The PSX master list only lists 5657 Japanese PSX games.

well that is not a good method hangman
if you remember that the master list list the discs of games individualy
and quite alot of games are multi disc.
it also lists all the diffrent versions of 1 game.
so that number of 5000+ is inacurate.

If count in Japanese library there is （4324タイトル）

but it includes of ,PS the best, konami The best, _whatever the best_,
limited edition, _whatever_ edition, PSone books inclusive of games.

But it also exclude some old title(only some random missing),
it exclude & include a tiny amount of republish
it also have a small amount that not listed after certain year.

like X-clamp, simple 2k series, (seems most are from bandai (lol))

4300 sounds about right, If you include all the diffrent versions
of each game.

its silly of me i will never be able to find them all anyway.
but ill try to get as many as possible.

I have somewhere between 100-200 I think but I know there are a lot more out there.......
