    Default Missing Render-Texture Extension!

Okay, so I Downloaded ePSXe and the necessary other files to make it work, and I downloaded The Lunar and Chrono Chross ROMs to play. I then configured the emulator accordingly, clicking the "Nice" button, and proceeded to finish with the configuring. But when I opened the .img file for the ISO ROMs I just get a window that says "Missing Render-Texture Extension!" and I have to close out the emulator. I absolutely have no idea what to do here. I am not very knowledgeable in terms of Cumputer specifics or hardware, but I got my PC back in January and It plays my VBA and SNES9X just fine(As well as Ragnarok Online) So I am pretty sure I have all the requirements. All input, good or bad, is appreciated, and I thank everyone for their time and consideration

That's what I thought...and you most probably have a graphics card
older than GeForce FX or Radeon 9500 too.

Disable Pixel Shader in Pete's plugin options or swith your
plugin to Pete's OpenGL 1.75(6) and everything should be ok.

Now that I got the games to work, everything seems to be fine except for the sound. It is choppy and slowing during the actual music and VA, but works perfectly during the actual Anime Movie Sequences. I am using Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 as my sound plugin. Anyone know how to fix this sound problem or is it normal(In which case I can live with it)

Well, FMVs don't involve much GPU power usage, so try tweaking the graphics options a bit so it will run faster. Press Delete, and if your FPS isn't reaching 50 or 60 (dependant on the region of the game), then this is the case. Otherwise, you could try using alternative settings to the Eternal SPU plugin. Using Thread as Audio Out method is usually the fastest, but sometimes SPUAsync or Timer perform better because the game would slow down because of compatibility issues otherwise. Altering the sound buffer size is another possibility.
