Well, you must shoot at everyone in certain moments, in others you must be very careful for leaving a bomb in some place or to ride a plane you have to hijack

improves frame rates
windows xp improves frame rates on most games and it is more stable.i have windows me it works fine i have a p4 with a geforce 2 gts graphics card with a sound blaster live sound card
i think xp does have a "virtual dos" as it's not a real dos.(as in win98)

Win 98 and 95 had a virtual dos, but you could reload your sys and access to the true dos cuz they were based on the DOS. Xp is not based on the dos so you can't reload your sys and access to it

XP would work OK for me if it wasn't for 3 things:
1 - My modem doesn't work, even with XP drivers.
2 - My �25 SideWinder GamePad doesn't work properly, I can only use something like 4 buttons.
3 - My �20 Joystick doesn't work properly either.
Then if course there's all the programs I have that won't work properly, like most of my DOS games, Adaptec DirectCD and countless other little things that prevent me from using what is apparently 'one of the best operating systems ever created'. Put it this way: my pocket calculator is more efficient.
Just as well I didn't buy it and my dad's friend copied it for me to try out. Hehe...
