I actually went out and did something today, that wasn't school! ..okay, it was recycling a bunch of bottles, giving some crap to the salvation army and dropping off some books for one of the random bookstores- but it was something to do.Also acquired a pretty tea-cup and a random war book somewhere along the way.

Since I've been gone, the positive things I've achieved are:

* I've been studying harder on my college work and managed to score A, A, B for classwork/homework this half-term.

* I've apologised to Mason for being a nuisance and accepted his apology for the various wrongs he done to me in return.

* I've been partying too much..

* I bought LJ for 12 months after supporting it for 3-4 years and made it look kinda funky..

* I've drunk too much beer.

* Successfully became the only one that wasn't antisocial at a huge party the other week.

* Managed to get this thread stickied. Thanks.

* Got rid of people in my life that were dragging me down and using me as a punchbag.

* Accepted that therapy helps me.. A lot.

* Developed a lot of respect for my family and my environment around me.

* Learnt how to appreciate and enjoy life for what it is, instead of whining and complaining about what it isn't.

* Let some of my barriers down and started to trust more people.

* Got to know someone who deserved my time a lot better and learnt how to appreciate him (Thanks Paul..)

* Got to know some of the members here better and discuss various things with them that didn't involve the word "twat", "lol" and "haha" for an hour long discussion.

* Increased my games collection and my *Cough* Music collection.

* Dropped grudges against people that I've held and finally apologised to them one by one, even though it was unsuccessful, bar one person who has retained some of my respect.

* Upgraded my graphics card.

* Decided to give something back to the Samaritans for all the help they've given me. Not a donation, and my parents won't let me work there, but I'm taking part in Operation Christmas Child.

* Left myself more open to people who need a shoulder to cry on.

* Become more open about me, who I am and what I deal with and I take the attitude instead of being sensitive about you not liking me, well it's just too bad if you don't now.. Fuck you .

* Applied for two resits in Politics and Computing, costing me �22.50.

* I've learnt how to laugh.. Properly.

* Persevered through the lack of study leave because of my attendance last year. So what? I deserved it and I'll get it soon for my Fridays.

* Became the Charity Representative in college and actually enjoy doing it.

* Developed a good bond with my form tutor who I resented for a long time simply because she made me cry in front of her.. We now know how to laugh with each other, communicate and understand each other.

* Read books. Lots and lots of books.

* Applied to five Universities.. And have so far been accepted for one. (YAY).

* I've been helping my mother a lot, who has had a nervous breakdown recently.

* I've been writing a lot more positive stories lately than I used to, mainly because I'm mucho happier. Thank you.

* I've been teaching my Dad how to use his computer a lot more efficiently.

* I've been working more time at work and trying my best to be as efficient as I possibly can (And it's been noted by customers.)

* My cat shit on me.. And instead of finding it rather depressing, I found it rather amusing, which was a first for me.. Just thought I'd share it though. Don't worry. I took a shower immediately .

* In general, I've just made one hell of an effort, don't you think?
