Just finished my research into a persuasive topic. I chose Papal Infallibility with the "best" of intentions from a student's POV (They've been debating it for a century so all the good arguments will be right there for me, it's really original compared to all of these stem cell/gay marriage/abortion papers, it's topical now that the Curia is meeting for the next Pope, the teacher certainly can't contradict me as well on something she knows little about, and I have the excuse that one can't fit two millenia of history into a 5 page paper and a week of research if I conveniently "forget" something contrary to my point), but I ended up buried in, well, history. Just finished perusing the Catholic Encyclopedia article (online, and really fun for the ridiculous biases; read the Martin Luther's entry for a good example), two texts from 1870 on the Vatican Council, a Polish priest's letter (National Catholic rather than Roman Catholic) against the Communists and on Rome, and another debate between a Russian General and a Jesuit from 1890 that was falling apart from age as I read it (This one was also really fun to read, and not just because the Jesuit got royally trounced by an theological neophyte), and a Catholic theological book elucidating on the flaws in Infallibility and the search for universal meaning written in 1977...gods, but I'll be even gladder when this is over with.

Woke up this moring, worked out. Came upstairs and there was CHOCOLATE MILK in the fridge. That's something you never see at my place. Hell, I only get soda when I'm anywhere BUT home, or when at a Halo party.
