    Default The Positive Vibe Thread

I had this idea that with me being a rather nosy and pessimistic person it'd probably be a good idea to introduce a thread where people can write down two things per day that they did that was completely positive.

It doesn't have to be anything amazing or spectacular.. It could even be that you helped someone in an emulation thread.. But the whole idea is to give a more positive atmosphere to everyone .

    I will go first, obviously.

    * I came to terms with my exam results and decided that with how poorly I was when I took them at the time and considering the lack of support I received from those close to me, they were good results and that I should be grateful for what I got considering some people completely failed.

    * I decided that I wanted to better myself on my exam results and decided to resit paper 1 of Politics and paper 2 of Computing. I done the mathematics and know exactly what I have to score to receive a B in politics (81/100) and a C in Computing (73/105).. Though realistically I'll be aiming for a C in Politics (51/100) and a D in Computing (43/100).

    * Got myself a new toy a few days back, that being the Sega Dreamcast, though I didn't get any working games with it. (I wasn't sure if I could use backups though as it depended on the year it was made but could not find any date on the thing)

    * I did find out though that every Euro Dreamcast can play backups anyway
Now I have close to 50 games already for it, thanks to EP (Sprung I think)

*I actually bought XP and don't care that I sold out

*Using XP, I will now be able to run Doom3 and a DC emulator

    1. I made fun of Skinner this morning already. More than once.

    2. Fraux arrived in the IRC channel.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

    * I just realized how much tuition will cost for a Master's degree on Computer Science or Computer Engineering (MIT, DigiPen, whatever...) and decided myself to study harder so I can get a shot at a scholarship...

    * We were working on a group assignment at class today on a subject I already knew about and I managed not to impose myself nor yell on my group members...

    That's good enough... Right...?
