Action Replay for gamecube help

hi i have a platinum edition gamecube the one that came with mario kart double dash, anyways i purchased an action replay cheat disc which comes with ar memory card to save the data too that works perfectly, my problem is that it says this disc cannot be read. Its strange since i returned it 3 times to get a diff copy all my games work and i know its not my gamecube so what could be going on?

What region is your GC?
What region is the Disk... are they diffrent?

that's the only thing that i know could cause a problem...

I doubt that's what the problem is though.

i found out what the problem was and it was that the ar disc wasnt compatible with the newer DOl-101 series of gc's so this thread can be closed.

I was actually going to move it to gaming but I guess this is good enough.
