    Default torrents and reseeding

I'm hoping this is in the right section...
I'm kinda new to downloading through torrents and all, and I was wondering how one goes about reseeding or requesting reseeds on some torrents. I've had two downloads stuck at 99% and 87% for a few days now so I'm wondering how to get them going again. Any advice?

Ask for reseeding in the "Bittorrent Ressed Requests" forum or PM the torrent
creators and ask them if they could reseed it.

You know seeder is the person who has full copy of the game you're
downloading by torrent and while downloading you connect
directly to this persons PC to recieve the file.

Actually a seeder is someone d/ling the game just as you are doing. It activates the upload procedure after a certain d/l size has been reached. And also what Macros said

Actually a seeder is someone that has completed downloading. They are called peers that are still downloading the file but seeding already downloaded parts. Like this matters...

    Not much

To reseed, just load the torrent again, and tell it to save over the existing completed file, It will check all the blocks, and then start uploading.

    I don't recommend this.

    1. I don't like getting hounded by PM.
    2. Asking one person isn't as effective as asking all the active members.

    Kind of agrees...

Don't resort to PM, unless you posted your thread, and no one has reseeded for you... (wait a few days of course).

Unless of course the person didn't even bother to seed their own torrents ( or seeded for like an hour and assumed that would be enough ), in these case's you should feel free to pester the hell out of them.

Heh, well I've sent reseed requests to the appropirate forum, so hopefully it'll work out. One thing I'm curious about, though...
I've checked one of the torrents I'm on (StarFox Adventures OST), and it says it's being seeded, and I (one of the leechers) only need about 2 MB left to complete the download, yet it appears to be frozen like before. It says my share ratio is Perfect, but nothing's being downloaded. Is that normal?

The share ratio is just calculated value of

    uploaded / downloaded

If you just opened the torrent again, you have 0 of both. If no one seeds to you but you can seed data of that you already have, that calculation equals to infinite, aka. Perfect.
