well i know you can have two dvd roms in there so couldnt you just use the same process?

No you cant, not at the same time.

It has something to do with the xbox only having one ide port on it. (i.e HDD and DVD-rom on same cable)

And how the bios supports stuff. Its big long and complicated, but really, theres no need for 2 hdds.

You need the Action Replay Memory Card (which you can hook to a USB port on the PC), and Mech Assault. You get the Mech Assault exploit, and put it on the Action Replay mem card. Then you load the savefile from within the Mech Assault game.

once again, good look on this tutorial, I been enjoyin my xbox wit all the aps and shit on it. I gotta a question tho, Can you get on xbox live with now that the xbox is softmodded? I was thinking that you just can load the MS backup, but I really dont know and wont try until somebody actually knows

You cant, if you try to get on xbox live i think your eeprom will get banned,or just it wont get into live and will redirect you to your evox dashboard instead, if you want to get into live you should get a modchip to switch between your chip and normal xbox that way you can get into live, if youre interested you can use xlinkkay wich is online playing but only with system link games, like halo 2,mechassault etc, it doesnt have scoreboards but its pretty good

okay, i have a quick question. i dont want to hack up the wire to make a usb thingy, so do factory made xbox controller to usb adapters work?

They should, thats what theyre made for,note that youll need a driver to make your xbox controller work

Go with a chip if you want to play on live. Or if you dont have the supplies right now, go with the chip. Same amount of money or less, more features=win for the chip. If you revert your box to stock with a Softmod you can still go online, but MAKE SURE LIVE IS DISABLED (AUTOSIGNIN) IF YOU PLAN ON USING IT EVENTUALLY! Otherwise you may accidently be signed in, in which case you=banned.

I'm not just talking about your soft-mod tutorial. I'm talking about any tutorials that are in regards to the XBox. Didn't you write up a tutorial about how to modify your XBox controller to work in a USB port? That's the kind of thing I'm looking for.

If anyone has anything like that that they've written up, then please post the links to those threads here, so I can compile them.
