Mechassult 007 game swapping??

i've came across this on a few x-box sites saying that its possible to swap games using either 007 [agent under fire] or mechassult without the need of a mod........is this true and if so how is it done? and since i have the newer model of x-box would it still work [if anybody knows that is] thanks in advance

Yes i seen this on TV before. "The ScreenSavers" it can be done. But it wont work with all games tho just to let u no. Im not sure about new model also.

If i recall correctly u need Mechassult and a USB thumb drive.
The thumb drive connects to the top of the xbox controller so u can load EvoX into the xbox system.
This is all done under the loading or saving in the Mechassult . i forgot

Srry i dont got an xbox i just remember this a bit from what a saw a year ago.

I'd say it is possible, because there are working swap tricks for PlayStations too, so it wouldn't be impossible to cheat Xbox too

so there is a way thanks peeps........i know how to do the ps2 game swap but does anybody knows how to do it with the x-box?? and i've heard of ways to mod your x-box without the chip but i think from what i saw you'll need a linux pc to do it.....couldn't you just use a normal pc [if its any difference] something about evol i think you know what im talking about

yeah there is a way,you need an action replay memory card for the xbox,a save hack from the mech assault,agent under fire,or splinter cell,one original game of those ones(non platinum or re.release versions),ude or uxe ,and thats all o and the dashboard youre going to use,then you load the save hack from your comp to your action replay and then you load it from your original game in your console once done you should be prompted with a new screen,after that you need to do more steps but im to loose to write them instead check for a thread where borman helped me out in this,the thread is called xbox chip disk, the rest is up to you,maybe borman can help more as im not an expert in this.

edit-and i think you dont need a linux os in your computer,the linux is the name of the save hack it should appear with that name in your load game screen in your xbox

whoops missed this thread. the linux bit you can get a linux distro which you boot from CD and it allows you to lock and un-lock your HDD (only if you have the eeprom, or if your confident of you hotswapping prowess ) The save-game isnt a swap method as such it allows you to load an exploit so that for what its worth you basically have a chipped xbox with only modifictations to some of the xboxes operating system files. how did you get on btw Valloy did you get it sorted in the end?

well,im at that at the moment,i think ill need your help again because i just got my splinter cell non platinum version all i need are my xbox ports to make my usb controller and get the data to use in my xbox,at this moment im trying to see if my game will really work since it says in the front part of the cover highest score ever :9.6,its non platinum but i guess it can be some kind of other re-release i found something at xbox scene that says this:

Just got a copy of Splinter Cell that I can confirm makes it into The MXM menu of Ldots' memcard installer loading the gamesave off the hdd on a modded box (Didn't try to install anything since the box is modded..)

Anyways, here is what info I have..

The game is an ntsc Splinter Cell that says "Download New Content on Live" above the Ubisoft logo in the bottom right corner of the front of the case.

On the bottom of the case spine it says: SCEL 0382 NTSC

The UPC says: 08888 51013

I see no inner or outer ring codes

On the cd label it says: 510130-DISC
Also "Highest Score 9.6"

It was aparently made in 2002 as is also printed on the label.

Hope I don't lead anyone astray since I did manage to get into mxm through Ldots' installer package loaded off the hdd.
I noticed that Splinter Cell details are kind of lacking in this thread.. Hope this helps somebody..

Edit: Confirmed to work with stock bios.


-Thats the exact game i have but will it work properly?since i dont know what a stock bios is and all i want is to load the exploit through my splinter cell(wich costed to much money like 65 dollars but it is worth) btw thanks for asking miackus

its called a softmod a lot like the same method used for installing Linux on your xbox

so the stock bios is the soft mod,then i think ill have to stop worrying about if my game will work of not time to get my ports and start sof moding

ok i get the point of getting action replay memory card and i take it that a "save hack" is saved file from any of those 3 games [if im wrong please tell me] but i got lost the rest of the way what's an ude and uxe file could Valholy or anybody explain this to me or lead me something with this info i'd be ever so greatful.......thanks in advance

youre right , as for the uxe its the virtual chip (i call it that way) it will let your xbox read unsigned code,miackus teached me that you can load it through ftp to your box once you get the xploit into your console and run it with the a original game of the ones listed.
maybe im wrong at the info im giving to you so if you like you can go to xboxscene or you can always wait for miackus or borman to reply to the thread,meanwhile ill try to get more information because ill soft mod my box soon,i got everything ready now i just need a memory card and ill start.

it would be best not to use mechassualt cuz you can have a non platinum version and still it could not be able to work

Well thats pretty cool. But hey, why spend $50USD on a game for swap BS, when not all the games will work. And go out and buy a chip and install it, and play all the games you want. But I guess if you suck ass at soldering, then go for it.

I payed �5 but could have got it a lot cheaper had I looked about on ebay. I dont know what the currency converts at these days but I doubt 5 GBP works out at 50 USD

In my case i had to pay that money because those games are extinct where i live so theyre expensive if you find someone to sell it to you,i tried buying it at eb games but they said that they couldnt assure that it was going to be a non platinum one so i chose the expensive way
