Where'd it go?

I was in the swamp forest of the thunder king on Disc 2 of final fantasy 9 using ePSXe, and I used a save state beacuse my computer was about to freeze. I closed it, removed some of the things that was making it lag off, but when I turned it back on, the save state was not loading. What could have caused this?

Bad section to ask this, but I think you lost your state cause you shut down your PC too quickly and emulator didn't finnish to save your game (maybe).

Hmm I'd agree with marcos_20 this is kinda the right section, but this is more for save state submissions, I'll move this to everything emulation, no harm done

Your savestate seems to be corrupted...
The only option left is to continue where you had previously left off with a mem card save.

A little tip...? Always use two state save files and alternate between them... Yes... If one corrupts, you may have a second one made not so long ago...
