that move is called "Fool's Mate"

shortest game I played......Rescue: The embassy mission on the NES. finished it on my first try in 10 min. got 1 sniper in position, other 2 died. and the first guy to enter the building kills everybody XD this was on training of course. Still, on higher levels it remains short

Yeah, Rescue is short, especially on the training levels, but it is the mother of all current games, it included sneaking, sniping and first person shooting with assault rifle or something like that. And you needed to rescue hostages. Counter-Strike is a copy!

I'd have to say Snatcher on the Sega-CD (The MSX2 would be here also, but the loading times add a lot of time to it.) But I loved every second of it. I was in THE ZONE, so I was concentrating directly on it, which of course helped.

Of course, since you are not a chess player (apparently) You probably can't follow that . . . so the obvious solution is go get a board, set it up, then make the moves I just said (you play as white). A Chess board is set up with the rows as letters and the columns as numbers. You should be able to handle it from there . . . P= pawn, Q=queen.
i kicked ass in chess club bitch... and no it is not possible, because the pawn must be moved staight, so there is no way to attack the king directly from the front, and the 2 pawn prevent a diagonal attack... there is always a way to protect the king, either by moving the queen/bishop in front to protect it, or moving the king... it MUST take at least 4 moves to win, or says this world chess champion i saw in a video.

oh and by the way, the moves if recorded would be something like g2g4, not pg4. you could record it as pg2g4 if you wish, but it is not necessary. and moving that pawn would NOT open the king... either your full of shit or you ignorant as hell

here is what a chess board layout would look like if you ever needed it

Im going to agree with that one. I missed like 40% of the game when i was finished. Did pretty horrible. Started a new game+. Got bored of playing and have't finished + yet. Don't think i ever will either.

Thanx a lot to DSerge for this sig.

Good call Gundamguy . . . man, can Pandaman not move (and keep track of) four pieces in his head? I listed the moves, all one would have to do is follow directions . . . anyway . . . And the notation I'm using is a dumbed down version of real notation . . . (Follow this link)
the dumbed down version involves putting the P in front of Pawn moves . . . REAL notation (as noted on the site) doesn't even do that . . . pawn moves are merely listed (E.g. e4, , g5, exd5, etc, etc . . .)

The shortest game I know off hand is DuckTales for the NES.

I seriously used to beat that game 4-5 times a day.
At one point, I probably could have played it all blindfolded.
