I'm looking to learn PHP, and whatever else I need to know.

I want to make a virtual pet site, but i know it will take a hell lot of people, resources, and time.

so i'm just gonna look at different stuff, see how it works, and so on.

Like, make a login thingy, then maybe playing with shop stuff, then moving to pet owning, and all that stuff. I just want to touch the stuff and play with it, not make the entire site, just a small part of it.

Basically what I need is PHP stuff to help me out, then maybe java, then flash. I dunno yet. What can you get me?

(any h@c|< you can get me to look at examples from other virtual pet sites, pm me, do NOT post it on here. I don't want to be banned)

Well, Mr. Emu King... well, I did look at phpfreaks, but i needed more info then that... Since there is about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 sites about php, I needed a good souce, but thanks all the same.

Could always just look at the sorce code of a major virtual pet owning site, like neopets. Just right click, click on "view source."
