I think they're illegal, since the developers didn't give them permission.

One can conclude, then, that if you like eXeem/KaZaa/what ever, you should use the bannered version. Huzzah.

I don't think Exeem is bad, I for one don't understand why everyone is putting it down I've been using the 0.20 Beta since the 21st. I downloaded a DVD at 500k/s steady, I don't know how it was when I went to sleep but it finished in 6 hours or under... (4.4gigs)

People don't like it because it contains Cydoor. Like it's really a big deal..

Well cydoor (the company that provides the adverts) used to actually spy on your internet usage by routing your web requests through one of their own server. Aparently they have cleaned up their act and only provide adverts now.

Im still not willing to trust them, I also don't think the exeem people deserve to earn a fortune from ripping off the bit torrent protocol changing it a bit and calling it their own. Hence I use the lite one.

I can't ever seem to connect to the eXeem network. Oh well, so much for that p2p. I'll stick with my BT/eMule/DC++/IRC combo leeching technique for the time being...
