Well, whatever, in this case, it was a fine decision to close or not close. There was some good to be had in it with the sharing, or it could be closed and he could post in the larger thread and deal with PMs.

Yup. Sounds reasonable to me. In that case, I suppose we moderators need to keep our eyes on that thread, in order to make sure that requests are limited to PM's.

We deal with things on a case to case basis. At least we should. This thread brings up a good point, which is that rather then simply glancing at a thread and making an on the spot judgment, we as moderators should treat each case individually, and determine how to handle them as such.

I understand that i just remeber readin a rule which said they need to go in the trade list so there was less spam.
dont blame skinner i was just tryin to help him i mean after all the old threads being dug up it was easy just to have it in the trade list and link it there but i spose it seems alright to have it open.
look i got nothing against him giving games to EP but there is a trade list thread so shouldnt he post it there insted of having his own thread for his trade list?.
but in the end whats done is done and meh

Noone's blaming anyone for anything man.

I'm just suggesting that we deal with cases on an individual basis, rather then just treating them all the same, or closing them just because a member PM's us suggesting that we do so....

Anyway, as pointed out by an anonymous member, this thread has run it's course. empir3 knows why his previous thread was closed, after all.
