It will probably work, but in order to use this swap disk you need a swap method to get it to run since the PS2 will not naturally load burnt games. In other words its only good if you already have a method of loading burnt disks.

Yes it would work, but would be pretty pointless to do as Josh stated above.

What is different that allows them to make games that are copied unbootable?

Something to do with the CD's being stamped?

I'm sorry I can't find it right now, but I think I remember Zorlon posting some schematics for a little tool that you would use to open the PS2 tray without pressing the button. This would allow you to somehow swap using a Gameshark. Why don't you PM him and see if he can point you to the right direction.

the funny thing is that i made it using the same picture you gave me, thats why i need a form of swap disk, like a gameshark, do you know for sure if it work with the gameshark 2 v2. thanks

update: i tryto use the GS2v2, but its too old or something, it froze at the load up screen, then i try to use a playstation AR (not ps2). i hear a high screecing noise when i put the back ups ps2 in. does this hurt my system permanently?

Alright. Here's the deal. You're going to run into issues with TOC, when trying to load up shit with the PS2 Gameshark. If the game you're trying to load is bigger in size then the Gameshark, it will not load. Also, you cannot use a PSX AR or Gameshark to load up a PS2 game. That's why it didn't work. Use a PS2 AR or Gameshark.

As for the screeching noise, if you're doing everything right, you shouldn't be hearing that at all....
