    Default Politics sub-forum and/or literature sub-forum: THE POLL!!!!1one

Yes, so. There have been people talking about how it'd be a good idea to create a sub-forum for political discussions, since they tend to overflow the F4A every now and then.
Also, I'm not sure, either someone mentioned it to me or I had the idea myself, but anyway, there are people who agree with the idea of there being a sub-forum for literature. There aren't many threads about literature-related things right now, as we know, but I think more talk on the subject may happen if there's a separate section for it. A place to discuss books we read and do the (read: my) "I'm bored, so I'm writing a short story" thing, and so on.

No thank you. F4A will one day disappear because of all the sub-forums. ~_~

Or just rename this. Anything to get American politics and the name John Kerry out of my fucking way. :/

    Ban politics.

I second that, actually. American politics at least. Read: No one cares!

Keep all discussions in F4A, at least we can discuss something interesting here, or else we'd end up with pointless polls after polls on petty issues being the only things to read in F4A.

There was some sort of literature forum before at one time, wasn't a big success else it would still be here . So no to both.

We condensed the forums about a year back, we had a shed-load of various forums that were scant used...and after the initial novelty wears off I cant see this being any different. Admittedly, the whole Bush/Kerry debate is getting a little tiresome now, if only because of my ignorance to politics which rely less on decent agendas and more on PR spin-doctoring. In the UK there is probably more media coverage on the American Presidential election then there is our own, such is the bullshit hype that surrounds it.

Nice tangent there, I might add.

We'll have to bear with the Bush/Kerry discussions for another month, m8.

Wouldn't be too bad, but really where do you draw the line on politics? Most endeavors involving many people are political in nature.

I'll say no for the same reason I told Skinner8 earlier: We don't have enough threads for those topics to warrant an entirely new forum. There might be for the political ones, but those will drop off in a couple months.
