I noticed that on the Emuparadise Emulators page, the link to the Arcade emulators is messed up. When you click on it the link takes you to the info page instead of the Arcade page. I also noticed that some of the versions of the emulators you have up are a wee bit outdated. I wasn't sure if anyone was aware of this, so I thought I might mention it. Also there is a new version of the Gens emulator out, called Gens Plus, and it runs the Master System and Game Gear games as well as the Genesis, CD, and 32X games. It also adds a few extra options, like some real neat looking screen savers (i.e. smoke effect, fire effect, spinning Gens logo, etc.)

    Default System Shock 2

Hey any of you guys playing this game, System Shock 2? Mine locks-up at certain points in the game, says its a hardware issue or something. I've been searching the net for possible fixes but they all seem to have problems that lead to more problems and really no stable solutions. So i've now come to the masters here at EMU. I'm willing to upload or of give my FTP if no one has the game. Thanks

That was off of bt for the first time, then i read that if you downloaded the ones of the site directly it would work using ie that is. So that's what i did, but i had the same results. So i then tried to get it through ftp using anonymous but nothing showed up, also im not using cuteftp or anything that you sugested im using FTP Explorer. Should i use cuteftp to get into the ftp?

If someone could help me out with this I would very much apericate it.

    Default Region Specific Sound Confusions

anyone else can you answer this question?

What is the deal with differences in sounds pitch between PAL and NTSCU versions of the same game?

I have only one example as of now to go on this: Azure Dreams PAL and Azure Dreams NTSCU.
During the intro, the PAL version plays the music a whole tone below (deeper) the NTSCU version. I dont know if the other sounds in the game are affected, like other music, sound FXs, voices (?), etc...
    Is this issue
    1. game dependent (Azure Dreams being only 1 freak occurrence),
    2. to do with emulation, or
    3. the standard for PS1 games, where European users have to listen to slow and deep sounds, cause they apparently like it or something
    ?

Please help me figure out how to make PAL and NTSCU games sound the same!

EDIT: Ok sorted, i found the solution. It turns out that i was the source of the problem, as when emulating the game with ePSXe, in the region selector NTSC was specified, when in fact PAL would be correct for PAL games, or autodetect too.
I wish to clarify this to anyone who might have been confused by the above, or to one who is doing the same mistake as i was (due to negligence in proper configuration of a quickly installed instance of ePSXe).
Thanks to Zorlon for his knowledge on the subject.
To any moderator, if you wish to delete this post, be my guest, the only reason i didnt do it myself, is that regularly deleting posts leads to a site with no content, although whether or not there is any content in this post is arguable.
