Yeah, but if he said that he'd have to be decked by a chick shortly after, and then Jar-Jar would have to appear and make some kind of smart-arse comment, after which the chick could deck him too. Infact, that could start a chain-reaction where this chick just goes around and lays the whole cast on it's collective arse... which sounds like an infinitely more appealing movie to me.

There's another thing. In Episode I, which I had the displeasure (ROFLMG RAZOR SHARPE WIT!@) of viewing again a couple of weeks ago, everything's been given political and scientific meaning that is clearly bullshit just stapled on.

"The force is ... mitochondria. The Golgi apparatus, um, sets fire to your mitochondria when you're pissed, which results in the force, uh... spazzing out and giving you a big green boner via the lightsaber. Yeah. And that's why Darth Maul is twice the man you are. Twice the Sith you are. Whatever."

"Trade Federation... blah, blah blah, blah. Jar Jar Binks here will sort everything out with his keen diplomatic sense."

The trailer on the DVD set isn't that special.. infact, I wouldn't really call it a trailer.
It was just a bunch of shots of Hayden and Ewan smacking eachother around with plastic lightsabers and a bunch of guys making a Darth Vader* suit specially fitted for Hayden.

Yea, the first two episodes (or whatever, i guess they would be more like the 4th and 5th or something) did suck balls. But the trailers just made this look awesome.

Well this third one has a lot riding on it. It has to connect the second one with the 4th ones. If it does so good it will be awesome.

I thought I heard somewhere that they originally planned to make 9 movies. 4-5-6-1-2-3-7-8-9, but that was probably just a rumor.

Well At first lucas said he didn't want starwars to be his life, but then in an interview somewhere (damn my memory) he said he would be doing 7-9...

I can't wait for three. I liked the newer ones better than old but I am a big fan of eye candy. If I get a plot too, then it's just an added bonus.

No, I cannot resist your witty banter and unrelentingly awesome social commentary any longer. Take me now. Doesn't matter where. Nazi Germany would be a nice surprise and all, but unless you steal Bill & Ted's phonebooth or successfully clone the Third Reich's legions, it's just not going to happen. Jamaica? When did I say anything about the rape of my childhood via cinema? That would only happen if they made a live-action sequel to Nightmare Before Christmas where Jack Skellington is played by Adam Sandler.

Regardless, the last two movies were fucking boring by any standard, notwithstanding the sort of momentum hype built up for them. I don't care if they tarnish the name of Star Wars action figure collectors or whatever. I care that if I go watch it in the cinema I will waste three hours and the price of a ticket.
