I have a problem with any emulator it plays fine full speed at the start but will eventually start to slow down to just about unplayable then speed up again to full speed any one know of a way to fix this?

    System Specs:

    Windows XP
    Pentium 4 2.66 GHz
    448 MB RAM
    ATI RS200M
    DirectX 9.0c
