Nooooooo, it's just after where they crawl out of that pit thing that has the walls closing in...
I honestly have never watched any Star Wars movies. Ive never been interested enough to check them out. I enjoy the games though, so I couldnt really hate Star Wars...
The Last time I saw the Star Wars films (first three, that is) was when they re-released them at the cinemas with some digitally enhanced effects and stuff. I've always enjoyed those movies, the the recent ones have left a lot to be desired.
That said, I'll be getting myself the first trilogy on DVD when I can so I can see them again.

Star wars as a whole sucks. Empire was a great movie though, such a downer.

I've never been a SW fan... nor do I plan to become one. I wouldn't go as far as hating the series, but I don't like it much.
No, no it is not. It is in Empire.Originally Posted by Slim

Gungan weapons? Talking about the newer films, eh? Too bad so many of today's youth are judging the classic films by thier newer, lesser examples.
Before George Lucas went senile, he was actually capable of making competent movies that didn't rely solely on special effects. Amongst them were the original three Star Wars movies. Check 'em out. You'll find them Gungan free and rather enjoyable, if you don't try and take them seriously.
I always like the originals but found ANH and Empire boring. Personally I loved episode 1 & 2, but I love special effects. I could care less if a movie I watch has a plot, simply because I have found movies with a plot = plot holes (don't get me started on the village and that hunk of scheie) I am personally happy watching a movie and enjoying the ride the movie takes me on.. Like kill bill 1 for instance. So yes I enjoyed all of the star wars films, but I liked the prequels better, except for jedi which was perfect for me. Lots of flashy effects, muppets, and a happy ending. I am the bane of artsy filmnatics everywhere. LOL!!

I see. And with that, I propose that we start a Kill Bill apprciation thread. Cause...that movie was a thrill-ride and a...uh...it kicked ass. That and vol 2. That's how movies should be made.
Though to keep this on topic, I think you're giving the OG trilogy a bit too much credit. Dude, it's clear that GL was making the shit up as he went. As such, the films had the most cursory of plots. Maybe they're a bit more coherant then the prequals, but if you like movies that go where they will without attention to plot, then those movies should be right up your alley.
im not judging the whole series on just the newer films, i actually likes the older ones better, its just i never got into any of them, and the newer ones are only good because of the special effects......and they arent that great....Also i could go for that kill bill threadoriginally posted by MetaChicken101

Aside from Lightsabers and Yoda's inspiration to reorganize the letters in TWF, Star wars can die. I fucking hate Star Wars, but I would burn the living shit out of you with a lightsaber. But that's because I'm good with swords.
And Deach, SFUT.
