    Exclamation problems

    LOL ok can someone please tell me how to install the Xvid codecs on Suse Linux It gave me a readme but i am REALY new to Linux and have no idea what they are talking about. If your interested in reading it and interpreting it for me it would be greatly apreciated just ask for it

    A reply to that thread has a step-by-step thing, so all you have to do is download something, then copy commands into the terminal.

    By the way, when you have a readme that you want to show us, just post it here as an attachment.

    sorry i tried to but i was having that problem where it wouldnt actualy make the thread and say that its a duplicate and when i finaly got it the attachment didnt go through

    Edit: oh thnx btw this should help a lot

    Edit Edit: do you know of a way to just copy the file to my windows partition? cuase i tried just a copy paste and it said that it cannot copy

    What Windows do you have. If it is 2000 or XP you propably have NTSF partition and Linux is unable to write on it. You should have a FAT(32) partition or transfer the file via CD for example.
