    neopets...

Back on topic. IE and Firefox render stuff differently. Sometimes Firefox is right, sometimes IE is right, and sometimes neither browser renders either correctly or wrongly.
The top page appears to have the xray filter on it, firefox doesn't render this. I can't remember whether thats an IE only extension or that firefox simply hasn't added it yet.
There's not much you can do about it.

I think it's an IE only thing.
But are you sure everything in your css is right?

technically speaking, the gecko engine (the renderer behing mozilla aand firefox) is more compliant with the official w3c (the web technologies governing body) standards than ie. hence, if micro$oft adds something that isn't in the standard and violates the standard, the gecko engine won't always be able to render it. strangely, however, i think the "incorrect" firefox rendering looks better.

Me too. At least for neopets. Buuuuut.... It just aint right!
Edit: Wait! I punched that URL into Firefox and IE and they both show the same thing. IE is screwed. But that shouldnt matter.

No, IE is right, I think that was the effect master wanted to give.
The firefox screenshot show the same page, but "strangely" it doesn't display properly, without the effect.
    madcrow explanation was all truth.
I don't think there is any browser which supports functions that Micro$oft created only for IE.
Here ia short list of browser:
    FireFox
    Mozilla
    Avant
    Opera
    Nutscrape 7.2 ( )
    Internet Exploder ( )
    MyIE2

These are the most popular free or almost browser. Maybe not the best ones. I used FireFox, Avant, Opera, Internet Exploder, Nutscrape and MyIE2. I don't know about Mozilla except is like a "bigger" version of Firefox, with more gadgets and useless stuff.

Well, praise the gods of explorers! MyIE, or better known as Maxthon, Does impliment all of my css coding, since I guess it was made from IE in the first place. So all my troubles are over. Firefox for fast surfing, and Maxthon for a little bit slower surfing, but to check the alignments, and such. Maxthon is still faster than IE will ever be, so...

    UP YOURS M$!!!! AND N$!!!
