I'm playing in the beta of a strategy type game called The Continuum.

It's pretty interesting. You buy characters by the pack (starter packs have 45 characters, boosters have 20 or something, and then there is the chosen one packs which have one strong character.

Every character has its own set of xp, and gains AP every level that can be spent on abilities.

You put the characters into squads of 20, and the squads are moved on a tile based battlefield. When your squad meets an enemy squad, the battle starts.

You don't move any units in the battles. You can pick what ability you want your units to use (everyone has basic attack to start with), some units have things like burn, fireball, shapeshifting, etc. and then you choose an order (attack, defend, charge, retreat, target one enemy, hold the line, and a few others).

    It's a pretty neat game.

With the 8.0.2 patch out I had to take up Football Manager 08 again. And, oh my, it's actually a proper FM now. I'm ever so happy. ^___________^

I'm playing A Link to the Past.

    SPOILERS possibly

I just got the shovel after beating dungeon 2 in the Dark World, trying to find the flute the guy buried. Can someone that has knowledge of this game maybe give me a vague hint as to where it is without just saying the exact spot?

    END possible SPOILERS
