Alright. I have some emulators, and I have no frigging clue how to actually use any of them. The Read Me files that come along with them describe things to me as if I should already know what the hell to do, while leaving out everything wich would actually be helpful. It's asinine. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get these things working? Any tutorials you have would be great, or if you wanna offer me some incite into your personal dealings with these things, I would be in your debt. I'm trying to get XSnes9X v 1.42 working in particular. Any help will be much appriciated. TIA.
You have to make the emulator into an xbox compatable iso using a tool such as c-xbox tool. Go to iso creation, Click add folder, then select source folder, eg xsnes9x then select target folder where you want your iso. Click ok, then click start. It shouldn't take too long to prepare depending on the size. Then use the burning program of your choice, i prefer nero, and burn image.Originally Posted by Cyberxion

FTP into your xbox. Depending on the auto installed you used (i wouldnt know, i have my own custom evox and unleashx files), there will be a pathway to put emulators in so it shows up in you dashboard. Transfer it over inside one folder, so its like: (using stock drive, bigger HDDs i recommend you use the F drive): e:/apps/emulators/xsnes9x/
So make sure the default.xbe is right inside that last folder. A roms folder should be in there too, so guess what you do with that? Yep, thats right, transfer roms into it! Amazing!
Assuming the pathway is in your dashboard section, you should be able to select emulators, then the one you want. Thats *usually* how its set up. You can do Apps>Emulators, but ive only seen that in one autoinstaller....yeaaaaa.
If you have any problem with the emulator reading roms or other things be sure to modify your .ini file since sometimes it may have the incorrect paths of your roms

That's the same way i normally do them for testing purposes, then i back up onto dvd since my xbox only has an 8 gig hdd.Originally Posted by Borman

Winged has currently found a working PSX emulator, it is located here http://lesterh.no-ip.org/sds/pcsxbox_v13.zip, The bios you need are version 1001. Also it might take some configuring but it runs great for most games, I am totally stoked for this one. It plays the games from any ol' Iso, Enjoy .
Great find! I am gonna try this out.Originally Posted by Dserge
