Another moral dilemma, for your pleasure

Here it is, plain and simple. No bullshit, don't overanalyze it, what is said is said.

You have a final coming up for a course, that you must pass to pass the course. Failing the course is not an option for whatever reason. Now, it is only a weekend away! You realize, on Friday, you must spend the entire weekend studying for a chance to pass as the bell rings for the class, and the room empties. But, lo and behold, on the teacher's desk, left behind are the exams! They are all the same, and you know full well that you could sneak away with one, and nobody would know. There is no chance that you will get caught slipping away with the exam, which is clearly marked, the final for that very course, that semester. Also, over the weekend, is this amazing party, at the beach, which someone, who is very attractive, whom you are very interested in, is attending, and expecting your presence. So then, what do you do? Run away with the exam, cheat and go to the party, possibly meeting the person that could make the coming summer the summer of your life? Or take the honest road, leave the exam, possibly fail it, and miss the party? Or another option? What to do, what to do?

Don't cheat. If you must know the subject matter to pass, then it is important enough to warrant you actually learning it. Parties aren't all that. There will be more. Would the fair maiden really appreciate the fact that you stole/cheated and in all honestly failed, just to be with her to 'make it a summer to remember'?

If that person expecting you there would be anything worthwhile I think she would understand enough to let you study that weekend. If she doesn't appreciate that she isn't worthwhile.

Leave the exams, cram on Saturday, go to the party, cram Sunday afternoon when the hangover is a little better, cram on Monday morning, do the exam.

Stress brings the best out of me, thats why I leave everything to the last minute. But then again, thats just me. Just do what your gut tells you, my friends tell me that all the time...

I'd take it. Life is short, and if the material was that important I wouldn't have left it until the weekend before the final to learn it.

This is a hypothetical situation that would never happen to me though. I have enough foresight to not get myself into those types of jams. In such a jam though, I would use every available means to get myself out of it.

Take exam paper, quick-study it, go to party.

After cheating on the exams, sit down a couple of days and try to learn what i should have known, it might be useful in the future.

Seriously, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Sources suggest morals are overrated when it comes to situations like this.

Go to the party without cheating or studying, pass simply through guesswork and awesomeness. Maybe look at it on the night before the test. No different to my current method of study, actually. I have exams this week or next week, I can't remember exactly.
