Finally got a hold of the amerika video!! Excellent work! It will probably get shit in the states but it'll be worth it. Excellent song and wonderful video.

Well, hopefully it will get that shit for being a bad video and a bad song, and not for any other reason. I've seen it, and I wasn't impressed. It IS following the bandwagon of anti-America jargon. Listen, if you hate America, do something about it; don't write crappy music and make money off of whining.

Not sure about the rules anymore about posting outside links but [link edited out by Slim, want it? PM it] has it. It's an excellent video and more of a statement than a song. In my opinion it's about how america thinks rather than saying straight out "I hate america". Basically it's how fake americans are, and how america wants everywhere to be just like them.

Personally I love the song and the message. Rammstein has yet to fail me as my FAV band

Basically, the point that's coming across is that America wants to lead every other country down the "right" path. They want to make every other country act just like them - "I'll show you how to walk right".

The point is basically thrown out again as the song says that the music the whole world is dancing to is coming from the white house. Then they add Mickey Mouse in there just to show how American culture is going into other countries where they may or may not want it.

In other words, I agree completely with DarkElf, I just wanted to use the lyrics of the song to get the point across because it makes me feel special.

I finally recieved my Amerika single yesterday.. Not bad but the remixes are a bit strange, the english version though has nothing to do with the real song, which made me kind of wonder...
