    Default Editing programs on startup...

How can I edit which applications launch when Windows starts up? I've tried the editing services and msconfig but I still cant figure out how to stop the "Verizon Support Center" app from launching when I boot. The app doesn't have any settings I can change either... anyone have any ideas?

I agree with Uncle Evil. Download HiJack This! and run the program. It will give you a detailed list of all the programs that are loaded at Windows startup, and you can remove the ones you don't want.

Alternatively you can also try RegCleaner. =( It also has an in-built search function. Which is very shitty. Almost makes me cry. =(

It's not spyware or viruses that I want to take care of, in fact I've already done a tune-up on this comp(by axing all the unneeded Windows services + other stuff like spyware scans, registry cleanups, etc.). Just want to keep that lame support center shite closed, I want to boot with as little running processes as possible.
I'll try this Hijack This! I've heard of, thanks.
