    Default System recovery problem

I reasently started to system recover my computer which it a HP athlon with the built-in feature it has and not by disc. First time I did it my hard drive was about 8 gb out of 120 gb after the system recovery was done but then something went wrong again and I system recovered it again and this time I have 1.8 gb out of 120 gb. Whats taking up the space and how to I get it back?
    Thanx in advacne for replies.

Temporary restore files that haven't been deleted properly?
Try searhing for files over 100 or 200 mb or so and se what you can dig up. Also, try deleting the temporary files. (Not explorers, Windows'es)

could be that the hdd is screwed... It happened to me, once it was a 40gig drive, then it was a 10mb drive. It was a WD, so I used the WD disk that came with the drive, reformatted it with WD, went fine...

Hope this helps, if not, the next person in line, plz...,
