Default Favorite band ever?

Who would you say is your favorite band?

I think Metallica would be mine, aside from St. Anger, they haven't disappointed me.

Oh man, extremely tough call.

I like a lot of artists, for different reasons, but it'd probably come down to Bob Marley or Sublime.

Band: Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Rapper: Talib Kweli or Mos Def

I had to do that since I rarely listen to any other band or artist.

Primus. In my mind, there is nothing better.
As for hip-hop groups, either Public Enemy or the Wu-Tang Clan.
Individual artists: OLD Prince, Aesop Rock, GZA
The psychotic dress, the senseless feature terrifies every living creature. Predictability is wearing thin; groundbreaking practice for the preacher.

Dashboard Confessional. Closely followed by Ben Folds Five and Motion City Soundtrack.

Sadly, the band that I keep coming back to is Slipknot. And I've never heard a bad song by them. Although I have heard some not so great ones.

Pearl Jam. Greatest ever.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...
