None. That is simply bullshit for parents and politicians to argue about so they can shut down gaming like they tried to do after Columbine.

I dont know if any game will make people go on a killing spree, but i do think that all the violence does make people more violent.

Exactly. People suck. They all want a scapegoat. Parent's blame the education system, the education system blames video games, the kids blame the parents, the public blames drugs and law enforcement, etc. Everyone has someone to blame it on. The reality is that it is a mixture of people to be held responsible, and videogames may contribute to it slightly, but the hatred comes from elsewhere. Videogames may inspire them to kill in different ways, but the thought of violence would already be there. They talk about all the kids who kill playing video games, well a lot of kids play video games, so of course it's likely that a kid who commits murder has played a violent game. Moreover, they seem to like to ignore the fact that a lot of people play these violent games and have no urge to kill anyone. People just want to use videogames as another scapegoat for what's likely their own problem/fault.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

Indeed. No-one ever seems to want to acknowledge that they may have something to do with a problem, it's always someone else's fault. First it was movies, then it was music, now it's games. Virtually no-one wants to even think that their parenting might have had something to do with the way their child grew up, or perhaps that their society has inherent problems. Games have just become a popular scapegoat for people who can't acknowledge their own guilt.
That said, I'm sure many games could send people to violence and/or crime; but only people who are already that way inclined. No game is going to take a perfectley happy and healthy person, and turn them into some kind of deranged killing machine, like some would have you believe.

Since video games make us go out and kill people, lets go out and live in barns with no electricity and all we do for entertainment is knit and churn butter!! Doesnt that sound like the perfect plan?[/SARCASM]

Video games do jack crap to people. Maybe they make killing to seem like not as big of a deal as it is. But I doubt it. I have been playing video games involving shooting and junk, but I have the same views as always.

To answer the question, any GTA game or 1PS could inspire to kill. But the guy would have to be pretty twisted. " I wanna be just like Tommy Vercetti when I grow up!!"

Like Agent Smith stated everyone blames other people and not there selves, they need to start taking the responsibility for there own actions and stop blaming other people.

If games do inspire people, which they they don't but if they did, I would say anything with a gun/sword....weapon...there. But a game that I am playing now, Blood Omen 2, pretty violent, but I get no urge to kill. Video games relieve your urge to kill, if you are pissed off, come home and kill some stuff in a video game.

If anything, I think video games prevent violence.

Yes, it is just a scapegoat (as Agent Smith said). No one will ever confess to their own failure, so they place the burden on something else. I remember reportedly(sp? eh whatever) the reason for the Columbine tragedy was a good ole game Doom.......come on. Doom, you kill alien-infested humans. Thats a good cause! People need to take responsability for their faults. That is all....for now.

Supposed to say either Soldier of Fortune 2, Medal of Honor AA or something along the lines of GTA. But, no. the only killing I do is in multiplayer online games and in LAN parties.

BTW, Doom 95 supposedly makes you want to kill

Wasnt there also a grand theft auto incident where 2 teenage punks stole a car, and when the cops finally stopped them they stated that they saw it a a game called Grand Theft Auto or something like that???. These are the kinda kids that start all the bullshit about how video games cause violent kids.
