Trust me, its worth it. Go with Zsnes for snes or FCE Ultra for nes. I dont know of any scary gba games since I'm not a fanboy of it.

eh, the graphics might not be the best looking but I guess its the atmosphere that get's ya creeped out.

Lol, the original Metroind on NES scarred me. and I think it was Dragon Warriors 4, but the midi sounds gets hell loud when it's battle time, and comes out of no where, and scarred the shit out of me too. Are those scarry games? no, but scarry.

Heh, I can understand this. When I played dragon warrior 4 as a kid. I got freaked out whenever you equipped something cursed. Also some of the music on their freaked me out, like the music in that mining town on chapter 4.

Go fetch the JP rom somewhere and go to the "Whirlpool" and fetch the English translation there.

There was a Resident Evil for the GBC but it sucks
The Castlevania's are not realy what I would call scary but worth a look (There are 3 versions for GBA, 2 for SNES and 3 for NES)
Castlevania 2 for NES is prolly the best one to pick for that creepy feeling
Castlevania 2 also has this cool day and night thing going on and has the RPG feel to it though it is a platformer
