Default Most recent 'played to death' song

Im not sure if this is just me, but every now and again I'll come across a song I like so much that I hideously overplay it, because it really is that good. Anyone else get this? If the answer is no, then disregard this thread. It never happened. If you do, then share your experience, and divulge into the wealth of musical madness that will no doubt materialise here in the not too distant future. Splendid.

    Me, at this point in time;

HIM - Your Sweet Six Six Six
    Collective Soul - Run
    Disturbed - Prayer

And remember children, this is not the same as the 'What Youre listening to...' thread, but rather the bastard off-spring of the aforementioned. Dont forget it.

I figured this would be about the radio playing songs to death, but this works as well. I don't usually just overplay one song, but probably a whole album.

    However, recently I would say:

    Anti-Flag - School of Assassins
Ill Nino - What Comes Around (not sure if it's that good yet, but I've listened to it WAY too damn much)

Not too sure about recently overplayed songs... but a couple of years ago, I listened to The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' for about 3 days straight. No joke... it was the only song I had in my Winamp playlist, and I had it on loop for days...

    Xaenn -

The radio is a different matter entirely. Not sure whether you would have heard of Radio One (they do a webcast) but they have the most contrived shite playlist you'll ever hear. I used to have to put up with at work on a daily basis, and it is the sole reason why I hate mainstream music. That, and small children. Little fools, following each other like sheep to Britney's 'latest' 'release'. C**ts.

Hahaha. I haven't heard of Radio One, but I'm sure I can imagine what it's like. Luckily I have managed to limit my exposure to mainstream shit to a very small amount.

It always seemed strange to me for music to be a trendy thing. I mean, wtf? Why would you listen to music that you didn't like to follow some damn trend? Pretty stupid shit if you ask me. That and music videos.

I don't do this often, but just recently I was given a stack of Promo Singles for no apparent reason, and among them was Lost Prophets 'Burn Burn' single. The only other song on the Burn Burn single is 'Lucky you' which I played out of interest as 'Lucky you' is also a Deftones song. Turns out I like it. A lot. So, yeah, for the last few days I've been listening to little other than 'Lucky you' by The Lost Prophets.

Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get Retarded.
I love this song for reasons that only I would know about. Biggest of them is the fact that this is a grand homage to the old BEP.

    Kanye West - Last Call.
I love this fucking beat man. The amin reason I like this song so much is because oit talks about what it took for him to get signed as a rapper and not just a producer.

Lost Prophets - Last Train Home
I love this osng more than alot of songs. It reminds me of mysefl and my relationships.

    Zlad!: Electronik Supersonik

    Serger feat. HellSpawn: The Script

Serger feat. Hilarity: HellSpawn's mother/Hellspawn is worried

    Sublime: Roots of Creation

Of course, these songs never get old, seeing as how they are all classics, and not that tiresome vitriol you guys like to play.

Heh I overplay the entire albums of Lost Prophets, Alien Ant Farm Traunt, Story of the Year, Offspring, and Simple Plan. I overplay some of the songs on each of the albums mentioned there. I constantly loop just one song for hours then move on to the other one .

SOTY- Anthem Of Our Dying Day
Lost Prophets- To Hell We Ride
    Simple Plan- Perfect
    Alien Ant Farm- Rubber Mallet
    Offsprings- Worst Hangover Ever

    Sig above thanks to crusher

Lamb of God - 11th Hour
    Lamb of God - Ruin
Between The Buried and Me - Mordecai
    Slayer - Raining Blood

Yep. Not as if all the bands I listen to come from EP, or anything :\
