First off, Gospel "not understanding" something is shocking to say the least.

More importantly, we need more info to be any help, so what ROM is it, what emulator are you using, are you sure your sound works, what emulator, what sound file, and any other info you think we might need.

Edit: Once again, I'm a step behind Mushindo.

i went and downloaded Sonic CD....but there was also a sound file i had to download for it...i don't kno what to really do with it now that I downloaded it. I extracted the files for it and the sound still doesnt play for the game...i use Gen version 2.11. I tried my other games and they work just fine. So I'm thinking I must have extracted them the wrong way or something

Well, that sounds like a Sega CD game. And to play SegaCD games, Gens needs the SegaCD Bios. If you don't have that, you won't get far. If you don't have it, DON'T ask for it here, we can't help, but I'd think the rest of the internet is willing. Google knows all.

Ok, that sucks. But I think other SegaCD games have had this problem. Which is fortunate, because that means it is solvable, and probably quite a few know how. The best thing to do would be to try something like what is in this thread: http://www.emuparadise.org/vbulletin...threadid=17769

If that fails, try to get ahold of Zorlon, he seems quite knowledgable about the stuff, hopefully he will post here soon, I don't know how he feels about PMs.

Edit: This thread probably should also reside in the same place as the one I gave the link too, that'll likely get Zorlon's attention.

What I should have said is, "I understand the question, but it doesn't make any sense without additional information.".

Glad I could help, and Gospel, I didn't doubt your big ass brain. It clearly malfunctioned for a moment, leading to your less than well formed question, but I knew what you meant, and felt obligated to point it out such that you could correct your brain's once in a lifetime moment of weakness. Can't have everybody reading this thread thinking Gospel's a fool, now can we?
