Default The best games of all time... in your opinion.

I think this has been done, but nonethless after seriously considering the recent flood of senseless threads, I decided to give it a try. Post the best 10 games of all time in your opinion. I am planning to divide it into three categories, just like magazines: Best Graphics, Best Audio and the games that truly stand out. You can mention a game in more than one category. But be reasonable though... consider the hardware the game was designed for and, if you can, put a small review explaining why.

    Graphics :

    - Super Mario Bros. 3 (nes)- Honestly, that game showed what the nes was capable to do.
    - Crystalis (nes)- It was a Zelda clone, but the graphics looked nice, nicer than Zelda's.
    - Halo (xbox)- Halo, enough said.
    - Chrono Trigger (snes)- The game's detailed animation and beautiful graphics blew me away.
    - Secret of Mana (snes)- This one had superb and colorful looking sprties. And the animations were quite nice.
    - Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (n64)- Even if old, it was one of the standouts graphically speaking.
    - Panzer Dragoon (saturn)- This game had some beautiful scenery... the graphics were incredible!
    - Ico (ps2)- Whoever has played this game knows that it has ssome of the best visuals a game can have. Period.
    - Legend of Zelda The wind waker (gc)- Cel shaded style graphics reminiscent of a cartoon.
    - Viewtiful Joe (gc) Henshin a go-go, baby! Damn, this game looks so damn nice!

    Audio :

    - Actraiser (snes)- This game had an excellent soundtrack, and it is the first time that an simulated orchestral score is attempted in a videogame.
    - Castlevania Symphony of the Night (ps)- The people who has played this game knows that simply said, the soundtrack rocks.
    - Medal of Honor Allied Assault (pc)- The ambient mucis and orchestrated score in this game is a masterpiece.
    - Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest (nes)- For being an nes game, the music was pretty good!
    - Super Castlevania 4 (snes)- Go to the options and check the tracks. Then you may see my point.
    - Parasite Eve (ps)- yes, I had to mention this game since it has an cool mix between classic, opera and techno music.
    - Final Fantasy VII (ps)- In my opinion, this game has one of the best soundtracks in existence. Specially the world map theme and One Winged Angel.
    - Saga Frontier (ps)- It had some cool music, specially the track when you fight Orlouge as Asellus.
    - Castlevania Chi No Rondo (pc engine)- These may be mixed tracks of older cv games, but here are some of the best.

Overall, the best games I have played:

    - Final Fantasy 7
    - Kingdom Hearts
    - Super Mario Bros. 3
    - Goldeneye
    - Lunar Saga
    - Super Metroid
    - Zelda Ocarina of Time
    - Skies of Arcadia
    - Castlevania Circle of the Moon
    - Super Castlevania 4

If you wish to add/remove an category... you're free to do so.
Tke your time, it is not easy to pick up the best from the thousands you must have on your PC. Try to base your view on those games you have played, not about the ones you have read in reviews. I hope this also helps up to bring memories about the games that made us lose days of our lives just to get to the ending.
